Intravee & Alpine unit (not mine) - and some other random

Do we have an invite then, and are we going to meet in TW for an early hoon ?

Saturday morning it's possible my car will not be clean though, demerits before even starting :(

Oh, and are we also bringing ladies ? I certainly don't want to feel like I am imposing on Mrs PVR's already imposed hospitality... I haven't asked Mrs B yet.

It must turn up clean, I've heard for years how pristine this car was always kept!

I'm good anytime, aside from Sunday PM as am hosting the male contingent from my sister's baby shower.

Not had the chance to grab the Berocca, so will head into the office during the week, any flavour preferences guys?

I don't think I've ever even had Berroca - why is this important ?

As for clean, it gets used nowadays - turns out it likes being dirty. Might scrape the worst off on Friday night if I can.

Had never planned it being quite so soon! Was thinking more like months away...

You are really a woman, aren't you ….

:D

Just not used to the speed of the Z4 love!

Although thinking back to the last intravee install, Playalistic & Pawnsacrifice were helping within hours

God you guys are slow :poke:

I won't go into the science, but just makes you feel better daily!

I've been taking one a day for years, not only does it taste great, but you feel more alert.

This was before I even worked for the manufacturer by the way!

Are you declining our offer to take your car apart then ?
I can bring lots of socket sets and power tools

Remember Shedzilla?

you can leave the circular saw at home as its a roadster
That'd be the alligator saw or the hydraulic pressure cutters, a circ wouldn't be appropriate to turn a coupe into a fun car :fuelfire:

Couldn't see those, but I see a small sander there also, so we could sort the paint out, get it back to a metal finish in no time.

Don't be silly, I have a DA with various pads/polishes - and a Hitachi 9" grinder with diamond discs for more 'problematic' areas.

Not all tools fit on a shelf under a bench... the serious stuff had its own stands

I think intravee and dashcam are on the list for install. I'm pretty sure that won't need 6 of us to do, but it's better to be safe than sorry I always say :D

Mrs B's night out is Friday, not Saturday, so it's unlikely she'll be getting up early... but I will ask in case she has a sudden attack of enthusiasm.

What is on the to do list now?

Well, it did start out with CDV & Intravee.

I don't have any aero skirts

Love to get a dash cam installed but don't want you guys spending too long on the car & logistically from pictures we can't be doing the front while the back is being dismantled unless you are a dwarf!

Actually, if we could whip out my CDV too that would be ace. And perhaps PVR can give my pipes a spruce up with his magic wand :D

Think PVR is the only one amounts us the has done a CDV delete himself so I propose he does this whilst I sort the intravee :D

I'd agree it sounds a better plan vs learning as we go on mine

Polishing exhausts is something I can do, while the more manly folk do wiring & use spanners. Will bring the britemax twins & my sponge ball along with a drill.

If I were to order a camera, us this still the preferred option as the reviews I've read seem to hint at a few issues

I've heard great things about these - pricey though!

Cheaper without GPS, and possibly don't get to incriminate myself

Think the blackvue seem a bit large (and pricey!)

The 0806 seems to be problematic, so thinking the 0805.

Srhutch, does yours just power on when you start the car, or did you buy the battery level thing (!) that stops parking mode after dropping below a certain charge level? I have many special people that park in our office car park with no care, so this function appeals.

If it means I need the blackvue with a power magic pro, then I'm happy to go for the slightly more expensive one. This is then the power management, http://www.amazon.co.uk/Power-BlackVue-Vehicle-Recording-Systems/dp/B00BR3PGNU/ref=sr_1_7?m=A112II91SMQFTD&s=merchant-items&ie=UTF8&qid=1431804479&sr=1-7

Like the idea of the wifi version.

Matt

I've got an 0806 and it seems to be fine - there were issues with the early batches but I think that had been resolved now

There's one gripe that people seem to keep bringing up and that's that the camera won't use two sd cards in sequence - it has two sd card slots and it was originally supposed to be able switch to the second once the first was full, but it doesn't seem to do that. You can tell it which one to use but it won't switch automatically.
