Intravee & Alpine unit (not mine) - and some other random

It is a win/win/win situation.

1. We are left alone
2. My wife has less ironing to do
3. Your wife is occupied

The risk is that (2) and (3) meet - and internet shopping commences …

That does not even bear thinking about.

Although I am lucky, she never leaves the house with her purse incase she has to buy anything :P Slightly harsh, in fairness it is just cash she never carries with her, like the Queen.

Luckily she has no paypal, so could simply encourage your wife to spend more

Perhaps if we are having a car meet, suggest an ironing meet for them....leave you to pitch that one!

What would I need to bring with me, fluid wise, adhesive Velcro etc?

Earmuffs … being with Bing for more than an hour makes your ears hurt

I used a mole clamp on the line so did not lose any fluid, can't remember if I have any brake fluid spare to be honest.

:D

Let me know what brake fluid is needed & will order it...and then leave it with you after, as I know my limits.

I'm nervous with plastic trim, let alone the one fluid that helps me not hit things

Not seen it mentioned before, but my wife's 2.5si drives like any run of the mill car, light clutch, perfect gearbox, no kangaroo issues. Noticed it with her vs my Z4C too, just so much easier / less involving depending on view?!

Well, the intravee arrived today.

Weird question, but am guessing there is no way to test it without it being attached to the car?

Might leave that then!

Annoyingly, having googled dash cams & read the threads here, my whole advertising space is full of them.....this will no doubt cost me more money; had 2 moments this week alone where a camera would have paid for itself many times over :headbang:

If you're going to PVR's place, you'll need to polish your exhaust tips first, otherwise some earplugs might be useful...

RPI exhaust
RTAB limiters
Vibratec engine mounts
Eventuri intake
Upgraded suspension

Though all of that probably comes to a few grand at least, more fitted :D

In all seriousness, have you had it aligned yet ? Even if it's been done before, the geometry on these cars is pretty sensitive so worth doing again. Have the RTAB limiters installed at the same time

I already use the Britemax twins & an sponge ball attachment for my drill for polishing the insides, so am ready for that inspection! Was amazed how easy it was to get them shiny after 7k of them not being cleaned on the insides.

Couple of scratches on the paint are already booked in, so he cannot judge me there  And after using his paint depth guage I will know how far I can go with the DA!

Alignment was done 2 weeks ago, so spot on. Do need a 5g balance on the wheel though as ever so slight wobble at motorway speeds. Will be getting it done next week.

When are you doing this then? If I'm free, I might just pop along to witness the fun... as long as the weather's nice...

...might even bring Cindy along to teach Mrs PVR how to shop properly...
