Bought a colour coded one off eBay

Bit more expensive not I paid £40 but its cheaper than buying from BMW and then getting it painted.

tomscott said:You might need to get a new washer jet too, tbh they are a pain a lot of people just pull the fuse so they stop working. Inevitably they will break again. Quite fiddly to fit but I would think you will need to take the bumper off to replace the jet.
It was a BMW original part and the match isnt perfect but its not too bad, light not doing it justice but in person you would never know.

InterlagosMC said:I had the passenger side one disappear last year around the time that washer jet started leaking and then I lost my drivers side one this summer a week after the drivers side jet started leaking, annoyingly it is a bumper off job, as said above get it off eBay around £50 painted and new jet I found cheapest from the main dealer at around £90 currently
Mr Tidy said:I had that issue with my MC as one of the jets was leaking when I bought it.
I managed to get a used washer jet on here and Ross at RBM took the front of the wheelarch liner out to swap it rather than the whole bumper.
Unfortunately one of the clips on the washer cover was snapped so I bought a new one from Sopers. They offered to supply it painted for another £15 but I foolishly spent £13 on paint instead.![]()
Still it gave me something to do in lockdown!
Ever since I've had Fuse 40 removed so it won't happen again.![]()
Mr Tidy said:It's not unusual to lose the cap, but a few people have lost the centre of the jet as well like you have.
I noticed one of the washers on mine was sitting up a bit and the low-level warning light was on when I collected it. I put a couple of litres in the reservoir and the next day it was spread across the drive!
Bearing in mind it was December I needed to sort the leak or I wouldn't have any fluid for the screen washers.![]()
Ross worked at Sytner for 15 years before he set up on his own so I figured he'd know his way around my car. I can see liner removal having a few benefits. No risk of snapped bumper brackets, no risk of scratching a large painted panel and no need to faff about aligning it afterwards.
No need for working headlight washers for the MOT on cars registered before some date in 2009 - September IIRC.
Good luck getting it sorted.![]()
