Interesting Initiative from Sytner

But did you know about the "is" in advance though

There is an M of every variant, except for the Z at the moment ...

Welcome indeed. Just remember, I am number 1 in the queue for an M when it is announced, and NOT Kryton :D

Don't take any notice of his ramblings Anneka we both know i'm number 1 on the list

This is interesting and positive, especially since I recently bought my car from the Solihull dealership.. let's hope they don't let me down on aftersales and give just cause for a rant ;)

Current M owners get the first invitation anyway ... :P

Wonder if there would be a better discount for a double order? hmm, we could organize a group buy, anyone else :poke:

Ian, let's hope note, but if you do have any issues just let me know; it's what I'm here for.

Group buy? If it can be done, you can count me in!

interesting and, slightly pleasing, to see a dealer take an active interest.

I've personally always had good service at the Nottingham branch, but it'd be interesting to see if anyone does have a bad experience, what can be done about it...

But it's a good thing imo too see you on here :)

Cheers,
Sk

ps: Forum discount on Window Regulators throughout the month of July?? ;)

Boy did we speak too soon, I've just about had my fill of the BMW dealership experience and I haven't had the car a month yet.

Beginning to think I should've stuck with Audi, they can at least make phone calls to customers, fix issues as given to them as a list and not cause more damage whilst using 1/8th tank of fuel in the process.

I wonder if one of Solihull's 'service' staff will take my call/return a call tomorrow so that they can take my car back for a rag around the local roads when it's next in..

Hi Anneka,

I'm considering having my Inspection 1 done at Sytner of Sunningdale, but I'm a bit concerned that they don't want the car overnight. Can you advise on whether they have made a mistake or not please?

Hi Flimper, if it is an M power vehicle it will need to be left over night, otherwise it will be fine to start the work the same day.
Anneka :)

Thanks Anneka, was going to put this to them when they rang me back, but they didn't bother :x Think I'll only go here if you can give them a kick up the backside, not filling me with confidence so far, and no guarantee of a price match either :(

Interesting this..In view of the discussions about this on here, I asked Sytner Nottingham on Saturday whether or not I needed to drop my M in the day before an Inspection 1 (even though it's not due for another 6k miles). They told me "no" which surprised me.

Credit where credit is due though. I did just turn up on Saturday morning on the off-chance they could see why my emission light was on and they took it straight in, did a check and confirmed the O2 sensor had gone.

I have been advised it's okay to continue driving it which is handy because the earliest they can get me a courtesy car is the 16th !

Sorry about that, your business does mean a lot to us, I shall certainly get someone to give you a call.

Also thank you both for bringing this to my attention, I will need to investigate on my end (before we book you in) I'll report back when I have reconfirmed.

Bought my Zed from Sytner Sunningdale last week. Only good things to say about them. Professional and very friendly... plus coffee was pretty good too (v.important)

Thanks Anneka, had a very productive call today and my car goes in in a couple of weeks :)

That's brilliant news :), if there's anything additional that I can help with please do let me know.

Mikee, congratulations on the new car I hope you're enjoying it! My personal favourite is the hot chocolate
