why do you have to have a girlfriend, how would they ever know about a ficticious female you named as a driver - it could be anyone, a neighbour, the cleaner, the local barmaid - what does it matter, you are just getting permission for them to drive your car - it cant be an issue if they never do!!
 
my lad as just had his renewal quote, last year he paid approx £1600, this year they want £2500, he is 1 year older and as made no claims

this is 1 subject that really really pishis me off, these insurance companies are a joke, I can almost understand why so many young people drive without insurance
 
Im with Peart insurance again, just sorted it today. Admiral did a multi car policy which would have saved me £149 even after i managed to sort 10% off each of my cars currently insured.

I saved about £70 even with adding protected NCB would have been £100 without the protection. Ive been dreading sorting it too!!!!!!!!
 
£1400 to £1487 (no negative changes e.g. points, etc) :thumbsdown:

I could have got £1400 again with Admril, but to qualify for the low-milage scheme they would have to install a device which checked my milage (and god knows what else), so I declined.
 
Mine hasnt changed, and i put 3 points and some mods on it..

I just refused to pay the extra they added on and said i would leave, to which they offered me a "loyalty" discount, to reduce the price a bit, then a bit more, then a bit more..
 
Just insured my (new to me Z4MC) with BMW for £491 :D
NCP,Personal Accident,Legal Expenses and £350 x.
Admiral was £586.
Direct line was £535 and you must have a Tracker!
Look a good deal to me. :thumbsup: :driving:
 
My insurance has actually come down this year by £170. Nothing has changed except my SP30 no longer needs to be declared (>5yrs), I`m a year older, have 1 years more no claim (now 5) and I`m 1 year older (29).

The only thing I can think of is that I now have a years experience in the z4.
