To do the valve clearance check properly, I'd prefer they didn't rush it and used the fully allocated 3 hours - so at BMW rates (£100-£140+vat/hour) you can see where the extra cost comes from.pvr said:That is about 2 hours labour rate, so not far off I guess?

As well as it being evidence that the job had been done, it's always something to keep with my cars paperwork and looks good to a potential buyer in the future.
