Everything still on schedule?

Triple webers arrived on Friday Steve, just ordered a 6 branch ceramic manifold from one of the Z boys in the States, when that arrives this week then it'll get booked in for installation and tuning, I go on holiday on Thursday so will have to move things on when I get back  :driving:

Just a quick update for those of you following this thread, the Weber parts have arrived, 32mm chokes and various Jets, they were on back order, also the 3 Pipercross Filters, those too were on back order, anyhow everything should be fitted tomorrow so they can then get it on the rolling road and tune it properly, all being well I'll collect it the middle of next week :driving:

Today is WEDNESDAY :poke:

:worthless:

Haha Steve!!

Should be collecting tomorrow afternoon, it was on the rolling road yesterday, haven't heard anything since, may have a slight issue though, it's had a Facet Electronic Fuel pump fitted and it's in the engine bay, no problem to me, however on an American 240Z site I've been told it shouldn't be more than 12" from the fuel tank, as it a 'push' pump not 'pull' , the garage were getting the low down from the supplier as they said it would be ok in the engine bay, I hope they don't have to move it as I'll have 2 holes in my inner wing where they mounted it, guess I'll find out tomorrow :driving:

Ps can't post pics on my iPad now we don't have tapatalk, PM me your email and I'll send you some when it's back

Well she's home ! Collected from Noble Motorsport this afternoon, first impressions are I like it ! :driving: sounds great, pops and crackles on the over run, never going to set the world on fire for speed, they're only 150 BHP and weigh 1045KG, I'd say she's perky :D really different driving though, under 2K you can't floor it, it hesitates, you have to change down for that, however you can feed the power and it picks uo lovely, all the way around to 6.5K, the Triple Webers sound fab 8)

No power steering and the brakes are rubbish :D but it's not a razzer car, I'll not be screaming the nuts off of it, as I said its perky, cruises very nicely on the dual carriageway at sensible speed   corners lovely and the downshift from 3rd to 2nd is ace.

I've put the Red car in my friends warehouse and bought the DZ home, it's much narrower than the Z, fits well in the garage, tomorrow is an engine bay clean and spruce up, bit of muck and dust in there, there's a lot of room around the engine so everything will get a clean and polish.

I'm a Happy Chappy
