Looks gorgeous Daz

You know on the cam cover where it says 'Nissan OHC' shouldn't it be 'Datsun OHC'? Or was Nissan a brand name always used outside of the UK?

Even the Japanese ones have Nissan Steve, over there they were called the Nissan Fairlady Z, I suppose Datsun was the name outside of Japan

Here you go Steve

Datsun is an automobile brand owned by the Nissan Motor Company. Datsun's original production run began in 1931. From 1958 to 1986, only vehicles exported by Nissan were identified as Datsun. In 1986, Nissan phased out the Datsun name but re-launched it in 2013 as the brand for low-cost vehicles manufactured for emerging markets.

In 1931, DAT Motorcar Co. chose to name its new small car "Datson", a name which indicated the new car's smaller size when compared to the DAT's larger vehicle already in production. When Nissan took control of DAT in 1934, the name "Datson" was changed to "Datsun", because "son" also means "loss" (損) in Japanese and also to honor the sun depicted in the national flag.[1] Nissan phased out the Datsun brand in March 1986. The Datsun name is most famous for the 510, Fairlady roadsters, and later the Fairlady (240Z) coupes.

Yeah I saw that Russ thanks

It fetches $16750 iirc from what I've read on the Z Club forum, I also saw a draft from the director telling MB what to talk about and what 'needs doing' to the car to fill the hour long episode up :D

Thanks Bing  that big box has got bits n bobs in, I'm not totally sure tbh, I know the emission stuff is in there that was taken off, I had an email yesterday from the importers asking me to list everything in there plus the cost for customs, I said I don't know and the bits were in with the price of the car, don't suppose there's any beer though :D

Quick update for the guys following the thread, the ship is due to dock on Monday in Southampton, the container will be unloaded then transported to a warehouse where the contents will be unloaded and checked, could take 2-3 days, then I have to pay her majesties C&E before I can collect, the car can stay in the warehouse for 7 days before i have to pay storage, so looks like I'll be collecting w/c 18th, won't be long now :D :trampoline:

According to Haggerty Insurance and The 5 cars to buy in 2015 I've got in just in time, can't post the link but it finishes with " look for the supply of good cheap 240's to finally dry up this year. Buy now as this Japanese Bullet Train is leaving the station as we write this" praise indeed :driving:
