Inaccurate "quotes"

And again. This is hilarious. I haven't even commented in this thread:

Are you talking about the alert for this thread here "Inaccurate "quotes""?
If so the explanation for that is I took a quote from another thread and posted it here to provide more evidence of the issue so you would get an alert for the quote, hope that makes sense!

No, the one above in 'Naked E86'. All cool.

maybe if the problem is present on the forum it would be easier to just copy the message and mark the person separately to avoid confusion?

That’s what I’ve been trying to do but don’t know if this is another new/recent glitch or is longstanding and I’ve just noticed it because I’m trying to use this function

So when I click on your name in that post it gives me 3 options

Refer by username
Reply in PM
Go to profile

If it gives this option you can click the username, pick Refer by username and then paste the message below.

But......... with other posts when you press the username it takes you straight to the persons profile and doesn’t give you the three options or let you use there username. It takes you completely away from the post.

These screenshots are just from the latest posts on the forum, therefore randomly selected. Yours, and the next 2, allowed me to Refer by username, then the third one took me straight to the users profile as demonstrated below

Actually I have been able to recreate the glitch.

It isn’t user error

Going to try a bit more but on a PC. To be continued...

When ever it's been pointed out to me that I have done it- it has been when I have been using my phone Mike

same here!
That is interesting. I seldom go online on my mobile phone. Almost always from a computer or SIM free tablet.
