We will be missed I'm sure :headbang:

Can I just point out that it's the UK collectively that's part of the EU not just England.

Yeah just the football Angie. I've had my moaning, got it off my chest you're probably all safe now for another two or three weeks:))

To be fair there has been a minority of English fans on Friday night but definitely the pictures yesterday showed the Russian and French causing the trouble. It's shocking!

I just hope the Russians at only 25 miles away on Wednesday stay away. The last thing needed is more violence and the Welsh being dragged into it.

Saying that given recent events in France, how this has been allowed to happen and the fact Russians were allowed in with flares, masks and knives I read is beyond me! Clearly Intel in the EU and Europe as a whole is working.

But I've digressed. Back on topic

I have now listened to weeks of information from both sides of the decision , I certainly cannot say that the remain side have produced any reasoned arguments for staying in the EU.
Please can someone tell me why our powers to be cannot negotiate any deals on our behalf from what is allegedly the 5 th strongest economy in the world?.
Please can someone tell me why we cannot employ a points based immigration system so we allow only the qualified people who have the required skills and qualifications plus expertise to enter our country?.We instead allow people with no work experience, no educational qualifications to enter and take the jobs of our people who are not considered by our so called elite to be worth standing up for.
Why do I say that just look at the prospects for our young people on zero hour contracts or 336 hour contracts the majority of these jobs are taken by our so called economic immigrants. These jobs have been created by companies who want to make as much money as possible but then with government backing say they are bringing down the employment statistics. This has the effect of lowering the wages of those not able to command what in the past were considered to be non skilled jobs.
We have over the past few years seen that the EU is in fact in very serious difficulties from a financial and immigration perspective, Have the powers to be been able to come up with a solution, the answer you all know is a big resounding NO . So can we do anything about this ,yes ,said Cameron I will renegotiate our terms and on the back of giving us this vote, which he is probably regretting,he tried unsuccessfully to gain the UK some opt outs. Remember this is a leader who said that we do not need the EU we can stand on our own two feet.
We have even had a high profile defector, but wait a minute this person is a politician who should surely be a person who thinks her strategy out over a long term period , so why with two weeks to go does she change her allegiance . I would suggest that she has ulterior motives possibly a cabinet post !.
So whatever you choose to vote on the 23rd please vote with a commitment as it will influence your life for a long time to come!
Just in case your interested and haven't worked it out yet and I do drive a German sports car,I'm OUT.

Why would that make you smile this is proper indirect racism?. I can see your from a very pro white racist part of UK maybe?. That actually makes me laugh more as I bet you can count your ethnic friends, work colleagues or even family (dare I say it) on one hand. No doubt you feed of what Mr Farage says and believe it. I did listen to him on the weekend and admit he does say some things I agree with but the rest of what he says is more like some drunk fool down the pub than a possible next MP. /The guy is proper racist its a shame he has so many tag alongs wannabe vote UKIP

Perhaps it made him smile because it's funny?!
The Wise Authors of the Dictionary said:
racism
ˈreɪsɪz(ə)m/
noun
the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics, abilities, or qualities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races.

prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior.

I'm not sure how PVR's smile fits that definition? :|

Joined the EU in 1973 and the economy has grown to the 5th biggest because we're in the EU - not because we are some great nation of economic gurus  .

We were called the Sick Man of Europe !
The brexit group want to forget that we were a country that had to be bailed out by the IMF and had the £ devalued.
Ah the good old days eh?

Well this did make me laugh.......
If it offends. Well I'm sorry you have no sense of humour..... :poke: :fuelfire:

Because this topic is so complex (and full of BS), I do kind of feel that a selected panel of business leaders should be making this decision for us.

I'd prefer Sugar, Dyson, Branson, etc to debate, then relay the real view back to the public and give the reasons why they decided if we stay in or out. Nothing wrong in saying we (the public) don't really have a clue about this type of decision.

Yeah, let's ask a bunch with vested interest to decide what's best (for them), you might as well invite Merkel, Tusk and Juncker to join the panel as well 'cos they won't be at all biased....

Joking aside, the main problem with a 'selected panel' is who does the selection... you could never pick a representative selection that would satisfy both camps....

I'm in the same boat - it's the Netherlands and Germany in August and September - I can see the trip being very expensive this time!

Tell me about it! Already much worse rate than when I was touring Europe in September it gad already dropped by January when I was visiting the parents but even further now, I'm hoping after the vote it will strengthen the £ but could also see it going the other way
