Out for me although it'll be In when the votes come in after all of the Big Guns said they'll pull jobs in the UK or find other Countries to do business with.

Shocking really but Cameron will get his way.

This was a real opportunity to make us Great Britain again, in the end, we'll be just another one of the EU's bitches and do as we are told.

OUT! As is my wife, all of my relatives and EVERY single one of my customers that I have asked, and we serve 1500 people a week :D

I initially thought that there would be a safe majority with a Yes vote but in recent weeks the No fraternity has gained considerable momentum mostly due to the immigration issue - I don't understand why people who support BJ and NF think that coming out of the EU will resolve this issue for us in Britain - I don't have too much of an insight but do they think the French and Germans will continue to try and stop immigrants trying to get here if we're no longer in the EU ? will we have gun turrets on the white cliffs of Dover to repel invaders ? what about all the ex pats living abroad ?

In, I've not heard any compelling case for out and besides there are so many unknowns if we left that it's really not worth the risk. The company I work for has offices and clients all over Europe and the world, the idea that we'd be better off out makes no sense.

Also would I need to change my number plate to have one without the EU flag?! :D

Still a firm OUT and in time we will make our own legislation on all the important aspects and get back to reality.
Sure it's the risker option of the two but worth it.
I wonder that if the out vote does win whether we will see any other countries follow suit.

4th largest economy in the world, if we couldn't manage on our own, who could?

I remember all the scaremongering about the Euro; how much we would lose by not joining, the 'experts' at the CBI saying we should as business would be better off, the risks of the UK falling behind, the Pound being an "expensive luxury". Look how that turned out...

Immigration is a poor argument but it gets the votes of the ignorant which is why it's used; those born here who refuse to work and/or simply pop out sprogs to get a house are the real drain on our society, but that's a different conversation.

Aside from the huge expense that the vast bureaucracy in Brussels costs, there will always be net contributors and net beneficiaries. Ireland being one example of an economy propped up by the EU and developed that couldn't sustain itself when the money was needed to bail the banks out. While I'm all for helping neighbours, it should be on our terms.

Democracy isn't perfect, but at least you can revolve the doors every few years, the EU is becoming far too removed and undemocratic considering its size.

Out for me.

I think it's net migration, rather than immigration that will stir up people to vote in this one, even those who don't normally bother/have never voted.

As echoed above, we are the 5th largest economy in the world, and we survived before we were in it. The EU has not delivered on it's promises, and nowadays with the advent of the internet etc, it's just as easy to trade globally with the likes of China and the USA who are also NOT in the EU.

What I did find funny is the outrage over the 'system crashing' last night meaning literally thousands couldn't register to vote.

Talk about waiting til the last minute.

Some dizzy wench on ITV just now, Eva Craddock her name, as complained by saying this ''it's all the big build up with all the publicity, it's all over the news every time you watch it, it's on my phone but when I come to register I can't, it's a bit pointless really''

So, you've had weeks to register as per the 'big build up and all the publicity' but you leave it til hours before the deadline.

Instead of blaming the website crashes, blame yourselves for not doing it weeks ago!!

Nuggets some people, lets hope they were all wanting to vote In.

]100% out

Cameron has sunk a long way in my opinion - the blatant lies he was spouting last night - unbelievable!!

Remember This?

He was at least right about this. He paid it on December 2nd instead!

In or Out ?
I'm all for "in" but my wife's firmly "out".

We haven't even got round to discussing Europe yet though

(Just thought I'd beat Perry to it ! )

I saw an interview with the chairman of BMW the other week who reckons new car prices in the UK will increase if we pull out so I'm voting to stay in

I thought the point of the EU was originally to draw Europe together after the last war and to avoid any future conflict within it and in this day and age of instability in the world I'm unsure pulling out is a good idea, and there lies the problem, with there being so much spin over the whole subject I would imagine your average Joe doesn't have a clue whether its a good idea to stay in or not.

I don't see the point in pulling out.

Tim.

Absolutely OOOOOOUT. There's millions go missing out of the coffers over there, not one accountancy firm will attempt to do the end of year accounts, bloody crooks! But apart from all that I believe that leaving is the only way forward for various reasons.

I've voted already as I use postal voting. Out for me.

You'd never join the EU now with the state its in. It was a completely different animal when we joined. I'm sure the country will do far better out.
Well worth a watch https://www.brexitthemovie.com/

Im out ,even though i came here from ireland in 1989 and worked here ever since.I just feel the country has lost its way not what it was .Paying millions weekly into the EU while others reap the rewards.
The nhs is on its knees ,house shortages ,and people coming here in massive numbers all adds to peoples fustrations .

You're right Tim and I would also argue it was essentially an economic counter to the then current thinking of regional trading blocks and the dominance of the USSR on the doorstep. The world has changed markedly; I can't see there being armed conflict in Europe for numerous reasons, one of which being just that instability in the rest of the world. That actually unites us, but is that relevant to the EU?
I am quite happy to argue that the EU doesn't contribute to global security, from our perspective, NATO does. Would we share less intelligence with Europe if we left? I don't think so, that would just be stupid. Not being a member of an economic club counts you out of sharing to keep everyone safe? We're all bigger than that.

I did see a post on Facebook that I sadly couldn't comment on. It went along the lines of "during the Falkland's War, where was Europe to help us? France were happy to sell arms to the Argies to use against us."
Actually France were the ones who supplied ALL of their Exocet data to help us identify weakness and develop defence tactics. That sort of 'nationalistic' argument is ignorant, though I'm still for out of the EU but not for those 'patriotic' reasons.
