Imposter M Badges

Some of the early M cars such as the 3.0L CSL, the E21 something 5 series and 635 CSI were proper M cars but had no M badges.

Some recent proper M cars are an embarassement to what most people consider a real M (like the E30 M3).

But personnaly I think the M Division and M Technik have always been a lot of things to many different people.

MY Z4 has no M badges and I don't care.

E24 (635 CSi) had M 635 CSi with the M badge (M6 badge in U.S.) .

Time to come clean then I suppose...............Tax Disc Holder has an M logo.

Didn't realise the M135 wasn't an M though.

I wholeheartedly agree with Adam D's point though about no Z4M but an X6M!! I guess the Chinese and Russians are buying a lot of the latter.

Putting an 'M' badge on your car is the same as sticking a banana down your undercrackers IMO. Still, BMW started the trend sticking 'M's everywhere on their cars to sell them.

Very pricey to live there and alot of drink and drug related crime. But I would swap Blackburn to live there for sure. There are many very lovely places but a few miles from Clitheroe but they are way out of my and probably most peoples price brackets.

Stupid really how the deprived North West can have property prices Higher than the South East for similar properties. All boils down to those who have some monery want to get out to the nice bits, just arn't many good propertys, so its a supply and demand thing.

i have a 3.0si with M steering wheel, zhp gear knob (also Mnbadged), and 224s as summer wheels - so all in all six M badges :-o
Happens quite often to hear a question is it an M.. always say that no, but the badges are factory fitted..
