Congratulations!! There is no better feeling after years of renting. Knowing that if you wanted to, you can drill holes, knock down walls (within reason!) etc without getting into trouble from the landlord!

+1

congratulations

Nothing quite like the first time in your own pad... spent half the night walking round mine pinching myself that it was real.

Enjoy

Happy for you Ruby :) always a great feeling to get the keys to your own place .
Have you any plan's for it or do you like it just as it is ?

I do have a few plans, going to start by getting it repainted and recarpeted and redo all 3 bathrooms. It's only 10 years old but I want it to feel really new for when I properly move in. I want to get a small tree removed at the front to have space for a 3rd car and then a little paved area at the back for BBQ.
So I want my living room to look like the one on the top right, turquoise theme..

Need some money now.
Thank you all for your good wishes

I like the vibe Ruby & don't feel embarrassed about dropping "3 bathroom's " into your reply :P we're all friends here
