Well my sports car days are coming to end.... for now.

I have been thinking about selling my Z4 since before Christmas. I fancied a complete change. Something different. I think after owning 2 Z4's now I was becoming all sports car'd out! :P

A 2 seater sports car just doesn't suit my needs now and I'm fed up of running an old 4x4 just to get where I need to be in the winter! Silly 2 of us running 3 cars also!!!

I have been thinking M3 but I soon got over that one!! Then looked at BMW and Audi estates. Nope!

X5 and X6 were next! Both a bit too big really and I even tried a few Range Rover Sports out! Good money for those but high running costs.

So, after many road tests and deliberating and a long evening thrashing a deal with the dealer Saturday, I have bought a Range Rover Evoque in recession white! 2.2 turbo DIESEL AUTO!!!!! :o :P Prestige model with very low mileage (ex-demo as I will never buy a new car again)! Got a great deal!!

I'll still hang around here as it's a great forum! :)
 
I love the evoque's great looking car.....changed my view of Victoria Beckham also, i'm a big fan of the interior she designed.

One thing I was a little surprised about was the quality of the Evoque interior compared to the Z4!! It really did look and feel in a higher class (and I was quite happy with the Z4's interior to be honest)! The Prestige model has a full leather interior and the fit and finish is fantastic! The toys are way more than the Z4 also. :P

I'll miss the Z4 engine though for a while!

Nice choice of car Breaker.
I spend a lot of time around them as my Jag dealer is a Range Rover too. Great compromise between saloon car comfort, style and the big heavy X5, Rangie sized 4x4's. Woudl def be top of my shopping list if I changed.
 
Nice choice, will be interested to hear about ownership a few months in. It something I'm considering when the 3 series is up for renewal
 
With a Land Rover, he won't have a lot of choice as he will forever wait in the showroom for the next item to get fixed :poke:
 
Great car Breaker, and will be getting an Evoque too, but staying away from Diesel and going for a 3 door Dynamic petrol model in black.....

To be fair the Z4 is ten years older than the Evoque.
