About a year and a half ago one *coil packed up without warning. A new one was purchased, in stock from ECP and although I can't recall the price, I'm pretty sure it was around £20. All was well again.
As one had packed up I was concerned the others would follow suit, so I got a spare and kept it in the boot, along with the tools to change it. It's still in the boot.
My advice, buy a spare and leave in the boot, along with the very minimal tools needed for the 5 minute change, should one fail.

I don’t think any tools at all are needed to change a coil are they? :?
