If you could study anything

Obviously I am a qualified Psychologist and teacher/lecturer and have all the degrees/qualifications associated with that. Next step would be a PHD, but I have decided I want to study something different, maybe even just dip into different areas. As an OU lecturer I can study modules with a staff fee waiver, so this would cost nothing apart from time, which I am short of, so it has to be really worth it.So here is a list http://www3.open.ac.uk/study/atoz/allcourses.htm
I fancy either something in astronomy, art history or social history.
If you were to study just for fun, what would you do ?

I was looking at a module in that, but have a feeling you need to be a bit of a natural artist to be really good at it. I am sadly not.

For fun? Study? Sheesh.....

 Actually, I've always had a hankering for something based around sculpture, painting etc. Just have no time for it at the moment, otherwise I would have taken it up years ago. Have plans for creating a studio in one of our rooms for when I make the decision to slow down and take stock.

architecture. always pissed off I took the easy option.

or just gcse's again, a whole summer off...nothing to do...a lifetime of hope ahead of me.

Welding.

Have a friend who can lay down contiuous 2 metre welds on alloy without the slightest mistake in the stitching. OK so he's a pro, but at best I can splatter a bit of weld around 2 pieces of steel.

Seems MBA & FICM left me ill equiped for that practical task :)

More urgently I'd better get on with Spanish given I now have a place there.

Considering two options when I retire in the hopefully (not too distant ) future, astrophysics and photography, not sure which way round though

I would like to do mechanical engineering

This as well as finance.

Hopefully will be studying for a MSc in Finance after my undergraduate degree.
