If you could do it all again....

Cheers for the opinions! I'm still stuck though. I've driven both and loved one as much as the other. I think the Coupe looks better but I love the idea of having a drop top. I used to own a S2000 and loved drivin at dusk with the heaters blowing as much as a nice sunny day!!

I need to find a garage with both so I can stand and stare for an hour or so until eventually decide which I want.

MC :? MR

Good luck. I'm sure you'll love it either way (o-er!). Let's face it there are worse decisions you could have to make :D

If you want the cheaper car, go for the Coupe ... there is a reason why they were thousands cheaper when new :poke:

I had a dilemma when i bought my M -the most stunning bronze coupe (which someone on here bought, not sure they still own it) this my favourite colour on the Z4. Did not want a coupe really and the dealer was hideous, but the colour combo was to die for, but then got in the roadster and found a lovely red black leather on an imola and was totaly . Go roadster.

4 roadsters now slk, tt, z4m and the M repalcement alfa spider. I cannot go back to a coupe, nothing beats having the roof down, especially on a sunny winter day, heater and heated seats on so you are warm and toastie, nothing better. Have to agree the coupe looks better but the experience in a roadster is for me better.

As you like both look around for a colour combo that whows you, then everytime you look at it on the drive or pass a shop window (sure we have a crafty glance to see how great our cars look) it will just add even more to the excitment of owning the car.

I think I'd be going for an Imola red with black leather on either a MR or MC though the MR I test drove was Inter blue and looked great in the flesh!! Never seen anything other than a Imola in a coupe in the flesh though. Theres none driving around Edinburgh, least not when I'm looking!

Thats exactly whats swayed me from getting a M3, 350Z or Cayman. So many kicking about that they go by unnoticed.

Coupe's are for people who don't want to mess up their hairdo's, or the ones who 'feel the cold' :poke:
:D

at least we can put our own hair back in place, being hairdressers and all that

Coupe
- looks better

Roadster
- 2 cars in one. Can be enjoyed even when going slow.

I'd definitely still have a roadster.

X2 (2 cars in one)

Driving slow in a Coupe..you might as well be in any car. Driving slow in a Roadster with the roof down and you are driving a Roadster and enjoying it. These days I do more of the slow driving with top down than the fast stuff.

...and,..I always think it must be such a shame for Coupe owners to have never really heard the sound of their engine when driving.

:poke: :poke: :poke:

This is hilarious .... if I had to do it all again ... I be single now, would properly drive a Ferrari and play with 2 ladies at the same time on a beach in the Mediterranean my boat properly a 60 footer docked not too far away

E89 - best of both worlds :P

:fuelfire: :D

X2 :P

Looking back at my old Z4 Coupe now I have experienced top down roadster driving with my E89, I would still have bought the Coupe. The Coupe was the car that first drew my attention to the Z4. I never even thought a Z4 was for me when it was just a soft top roadster! Just didn't appeal. Personal choice. :)
