Yup..thats what I get..you are trying to do a Bluetooth update?

Yes. All connected fine but it will not search the contacts. I can scroll through but when I select A-Z search it does not narrow the contacts down even when exact input is keyed in.

It’s not been updated since 2011

I think 2015 was the last update..I have that version but not sure if it’s applicable to your car ?

It says no USB with software. I have a 2GB FAT32 clean drive with no folders only the .bin. Any ideas please?

I think you place the bin file in the root directory of the usb formatted fat 32 then plug it into the usb port in the centre

That whole area of Bluetooth / usb / media is a nightmare of hardware versions and revisions over the E89 life..

I’m not going to sweat over it. It’s just a detail.

Getting new boots Friday Continental sport 7. New OEM battery. Got a full tank of Shell V power.

Just going to enjoy.

32 gb is supported

Fat 32 only supports 4 gb individual file size. So you would have blocks of 4gb.
