Haven't used the Z4 since the weekend and it's been on my drive. It was that frosted over this morning I couldn't get in! Had to use the wife's hair dryer on the window seals! Took ages before the window would drop! Same happens every winter! :?
 
The gummi stuff helps, but I was also unable to open the door first thing. I've found that by pushing my gloved fingers into the gap between the rubber and glass at the very top of the window it frees the glass from the rubber on the outside, which allows the glass to drop.
 
I applied my "Gummi Bear" juice stuff on the weekend and so far no stuck doors - seems to be doing the job.

Also my "cheap and cheerful" half cover works a treat, takes a bit longer but worth it for the protection. Actually, not sure it takes longer, once the cover's off, you are ready to go, but I guess I have to account for the time to put the cover on in the evening too....

Mine has I just connect it to the cigarette lighter if I am running a little late in the morning to add the finishing touch :D
 
Also suffering from frozed windows, had to wait a couple of hours to use the Z.

Scuse me for being ignorant but what's Gummi Bear?

£3.95 + £4.35 UK delivery = £8.30. Better off with the 2 x 100ml bottles from ebay for £10 and free postage like I did.

It is the same seller on Amazon and ebay. :thumbsup:

The same happened to me last week when it was -5.I had to drop the roof,but you haven't got that option with a coupe :fuelfire:

Since then I have been dropping the window 2-3mm before leaving the car. It was -5 yesterday morning and the door opened no problem,as the window doesn't need to drop. :thumbsup:
