I want an R8

Tulisa and Helen Flanagan drive R8's...enough reason to give them a swerve imo :poke: .

DB9's FTW

I don't give a monkeys who drives them. If I had one Tulisa or Pouter Flanagan wouldn't be driving mine so who cares.

Me too I like the R8.

And the gallardo.

And the db9 and vantage.

But I guess the rage is now the F Type.

I'd also have the 458.

And a 355.

Ironically it goes back to the e type as the most desireable of them all.

So I have to make some difficult choices.

You missed an Aventador off that list. And a Huarya :D

Get those two and we can share one big garage

I'm with you Carol on the R8. A lad I know gets to drive his uncles red one around Telford reg R8CDE he filmed himself on his mobile showing the speedo reading 180 down the m54 Shrewsbury bypass thingy what's it

For SH R8 money, most of these are way off the scale.

SH DB9 for me in the future, if all goes well. R8 is very nice but the v8 isn't that fast. Plus it's not the old gits GT, that I think will suit me in 6 or 7 years time. 8) If I've had enought of the Zed by then. :driving:

Never seen an R8 in bright yellow Carol, would certainly be a head turner.

Really? I've never seen it about.
What an idiot tho driving like that. Not cool.

Yeah it was an icy morning as well. We were meeting up to go to the autosports show about 4 years ago. Chap down the bottom of glendinning bought his partner a v10 spyder but she didn't keep it long as she kept getting gawped at and harassed by young men shouting lewd remarks. Sad really

 I'd just shout back.
Actually I wouldn't get any lewd remarks shouted at me so I'd be ok. :D

The previous owner of my z had an Aston ( Vantage ) - he had only just bought it to upgrade from the BMW - he picked me up in it from the local rail station when I went to collect the zed . It was black , cream leather everywhere and exuded quality - apparently he bought it from a dealer in Reading and will have to take it back there for each service - scarily expensive to maintain - TBH the car didn't do a lot for me - yes it was big and fast but in my view didn't have the looks that hit you in the face like the R8 - came over to me as a bit of an old man's car ( a wealthy old man  .)

Each time we go to Gatwick there's usually an R8 among the supercars they put on display in the departure lounge - absolutely stunning .

I love the new one with the DSG box (or whatever Audi call their version)

It's the S-tronic I believe. The old box was an R-tronic which was naff and really slow to change

I think the R8 is better looking than a Porsche 991, however for me it was far to late in the Audi's life cycle to purchase one.

There's a 2008 R8 with all V10 aesthetic upgrades on Auto trader for sub 40k though it does say CAT C?? even comes with the hearty numberplate 'R8 KWL'

Though for 40k.... it's a no brainer i'd go for a '10 reg GT-R.

It's a nice car, but I also think it lacks a bit of class, it just screams "look at me look at me" while pointing out to everyone that you couldn't afford a Ferrari. I'd prefer something a bit more refined, like a DB9, an F-Type or dare I say a Z4 :D

I wouldn't say no to any of those Sketchers and to be honest if the R8, F Tyoe & DB9 were lined up I'd be hard pressed to choose.
I wish

Pick One?
