Well in Tom. Can't believe it's 3 pages before anyone has brought that up.
Clinical, soulless and just outright boring is how I would describe both the R8s I had a shot of (V10 and V8). I preferred the V8 over the V10. It made a better noise and things happened at a less ridiculous speed.

But those cars are twice the cost of a new R8 V10 and not as reliable plus it's cheaper to run![]()

Not sure if you've optioned up a new car from the above list, you can spend £240k easily so near enough double, also the R8 is the run-out model so yes it won't look good as the rest on paper
Maniac said:I'd skip the drop top. Get one with a roof. I've decided I'll never have another convertible. Stiff solid chassis all the way in future. I can feel even the slightest scuttle shake in the e89 (and my old e85) and really don't like it at all. Lovely to have a drop top, but better still in a sports car to have a very solid chassis, which even though BMW try very hard, means no more convertibles.
