Bit of a dilemma here...had a go at insuring my car in october this year to see how much it would be for another year...and it came to £2800 which is less than i imagined...but still not cheap. Cos i knew it would be a lot i decided last month that come renewal time i would trade in my Z4 for something more sensible (boring). But i dont really want to downgrade to much so i was thinking about getting something like the old shape 320ci or a current m sport saloon with a small engine or something like that. But cos i dont wanna downgrade too much i want a biggish engine ( 2.2 or above) so insurance is pretty much the same. So the only car i can think of which is BMW related is a mini cooper s....which i can insure for £1700...much more like it!!
So the obvous choice is that?? Or it it... not sure how much id get back on my z4 in october...i bought it last october for 15k?? So if i part exchanged it for a cooper s would i be losing out? surely pice wise it would be a like for like swap? or would i lose about 1000 in value cos im part exchanging my car? obv the dealer needs to make money
So basically what do u guys reckon? Sell the car in oct and go mini cooper s (which is faster than my car...if a lil less classy) or just keep the zed
Hmmmm
cheers peeps
