Cheers guys. If I cant get the bolt off tonight but using a longer lever and a wd40 soak, I'll try and source something to heat the bolt in order to remove it.

Everyone has therir own techniques but I would suggest using either a 6 sided ring spanner (they don't burr corners) and a bit of hitting, or preferably a 2' long bar on a decent socket. If the bar is knuckled and not a T bar you can ensure the force is aligned with the head of the bolt and not round the top off the bolt.
Not sure I would want to warm up the brakes to cherry red......! Transfer of heat to the seals etc etc. Start of gently and work up (that's what Mrs J says and she's always right).![]()

I soaked it in wd40, kept lubricating every 10 mins and then managed to get the top one off with a an extended arm wrench. Was close to sheering the edges of the bolt, but luckily it budged.
