That forum member has withdrawn their offer. Also, I offered to pay for them from the start FYI and sent a msg to him not long ago offering again to pay. He is well within us rights to not sell them to me as they are his property. No hard feelings. Him and Simon are mates.

Also. I’ve made many valid points showing that I’m in the right, none of which have really been challenged. Just ignored.

Another forum member has already offered to send you the blanks FOC.
Would it not be possible for you to accept that offer and drop your claim?
That way, with maybe an apology or two, the forum can be seen to have pulled together, learned another valuable lesson about the disruptive power of words without context, and solved it's own problems.

I believe a good forum should be able to take on this kind of issue and resolve it in the best way it can.

My words were not presumptuous at all , you can write all the carefully constructed retorts you like but it comes down to a very simple basic issue that cannot even be debated .
You bought 2 items off a advert both clearly shown in a photograph , anything else that you assume should have been included is irrelevant , simple as that , you then feel like you've been roasted at £25 a pair delivered & pull just about the sneakiest move ever with the PP demand

When people talk about the photo and it being obvious, they are talking about the dedicated ad for the vents. See first page of this thread for the link.

You’re saying that you didn’t even see this ad or the photo from it and mention not wanting to trawl through a long thread of some kind, so I assume from this you mean that you just saw Simon’s main “Breaking” thread, didn’t want to search through all of it and PM’d him directly?

I can see where the confusion arose, if that’s what happened, but we’re then into the realm of doing deals via PM which has always been a bit of an every-man-for-himself type thing (hence the note in the forum rules about it).

So if somebody buys your sports seats using paypal and then claims a full refund because they couldn't be bothered to look at the pictures and see a few marks or creases, you'd quite happily accept that would you ?
