Well, I am now at the stage of refitting my new motor to the hood. I had to crimp some spade connectors as the new motor has wider terminals at the bottom. Tested all OK. Tested again once sealed up - nothing. One of the new spade connectors had come loose. Re-opened and gave it a squeeze. Refitted and tested. All OK.
Question for those of you who have done this. Shoould the black sound insulation case be mounted tightly to the roof post or should it be able to slide up and down.
My mount was bust when I took the roof off so I didn't see it, but the screw tip seems to butt against the post so can never be tight.
