How the hell did you manage that, are you a nun?
For some reason or another, I have always had very reasonable insurance quotes - apart from an M3. Cheapest quote I got for that was £890.
I work offshore and my mileage is set at 6k per annum. I have 3 years no claims and 1 "at fault" claim against me. I am expecting an increase in premium this year as it seems that all prices are going up. It's heartbreaking that My road tax costs more than my insurance!

Wonder if you off hore job makes you a low risk as there are big periods of time where you cant use the car.
That's good I've just been quoted £198 and I'm 49 with 9 yrs NCD. My current insurer wants £270 to renew. I paid over a grand in 1994 to insure an XR3i. How things have changed.roaduser said:My insurance is up in October, cheapest I have found is £189.92. Thats a drop of over £50. Im 37 yo with 9 years ncd though. Getting old has its bonuses. I remember paying a grand on a Volvo 440 turbo back in 1999.

Last year I paid £370 for the ///M and £270 for the Astra
This year I am paying £301 for the ///M and £188 for the Astra saving just over £150
For once it's actually a multicar policy with Admiral. I'm not a fan of these but as there is only 8 days difference between the renewal dates it's not an issue.
Also means I can fit my strut brace soon![]()
Perhaps hitting 40 this year has had something to do with it?
