How's the weather?

It was 22 degrees Celsius in Kenilworth yesterday lunch time, hood down, it was lovely, got home and two hours later it was pouring with rain, I love this Country, but a little fed up with the weather :x

x 2 - I'm going to emigrate to Italy if this carries on. :(

last summer i went to sharm el sheik which was averaging 45 celcius in the day and 35 at night.

i've never felt anything like it. the humidity at night was unreal.

sometimes i'm glad i like in england. only sometimes though.

OK. I've been moaning about the rain for the last however long, but I'd rather it be dry and warm than 40+ degrees.... too hot :o

24C and sunny in Santa Barbara - ho hum.

Regarding Las Vegas - yep it's a dry heat... like your freakin' oven!

You say dry heat...but at about 5pm during the summer, it gets very humid and humidity goes up to 90%....and you sweat, and then even your sweat, sweats!!!

Yes you do! I had to fit guttering to my forehead!

:) We only did a couple of day cruises up the Nile from Luxor, spent a couple of weeks there touring the temples & tombs (only in the early mornings) but yeah, was 9 years ago

When were you there? We were there from 13th August (if I remember rightly)

We usually holiday around the last two weeks in August, so may have been around the same time :D Remember an American couple there who had their own armed guard outside their hotel room - they were the only Americans there.

Currently just outside Foggia, yesterday the car was displaying 45degC, today was a bit cooler only 41degC.
Looking forward to going back to Naples tomorrow it's positively baltic there at only 36degC.

It's stopped raining here. For now. Should be back just as I get on the M25 in the morning.

I am becoming homocidally jealous of those of you in a place where summer exists :x

Ridgy the long-term forecast apparently told us July was going to be a sizzler so forgive me if i sound sceptical!!

One thing I will say is that because it has pissed down here almost non-stop since April most of us are now resigned to it never stopping. Anything other than the rain is now greeted as a pleasant surprise!!

It is without a doubt the worst summer i can ever remember (and there have been some shockers too).

I hear you ;-)

I hope it turns to snow in time for Christmas as we're coming over for a month to celebrate with friends and family, and the kids have never seen snow :-)

Woken this morning to glorious sunshine... off to see a client today. Do you want to take a guess as to what I'm going in? :driving:
