How to mend a broken heart...

my Z4 M Roadster was destroyed in a terrible accident. Many have told me I am lucky to have walked away alive (...and I believe them) - more so than that - completely unharmed apart from some whiplash and a couple of small bruises!
If your Roadster was destroyed and you consider yourself lucky to have walked away virtually unharmed, then it seems unlikely that the car overturned in the accident and your head didn't make contact with the road or any other object. If that's correct, I'd count my blessings and learn my lesson and put a roof over my head. I've never owned a ragtop, and never will, for that very reason.
Then it's probably best that you never buy a motorcycle...

Na they look like they dont fit and are a pain in the ass to fit too... from the amount of posts on here +add another £1000 to the cost of the car.
I put my hardtop on my Z4M every winter. It's really a 10min, 2 person job that's really easy. IMO the look of a roadster with a hardtop is ok... It's not the same as the beautiful coupe, but it's ok.

Here is mine with the hardtop on...

Z4M roadster vs Z4M coupe. It's common knowledge that the Z4M Coupe looks better then the Roadster and that the Coupe is more exclusive then the roadster... I own a Roadster and IMO the Coupe does look better, but when driving with the top down the Roadster is more fun for me. If I bought a Z4M coupe then I had a small unpractical sports car, if I bought the roadster then I also had a small unpractical sports car but with extra added value of also having a convertible. If you don't like driving a convertible or are so in love with the looks of the coupé. Buy one! It's that easy! :o

Or a Seven... I was uninjured (except pride and awful whiplash) when my first Westfield left the road at around 60mph, spinning into the crash barrier, a lamp post, the barrier again, and back towards the road. The frightening part was the lamp standard falling fifty feet from the pole and smashing into the ground next to my (roofless and doorless) wreck :(

I've had one in the past. I also used to ride racehorses on a daily basis for over 20 years and that IS dangerous. I was permanently carrying at least one injury throughout that time, so I'm no wuss and not averse to a bit of risk. Maybe age has given me a bit of wisdom? I still love the thrill of speed, hence my ownership of ZMCs, but I'd rather survive and be able to do it all again if things went wrong, rather than it all be over and out.

Sounds like you were even luckier than me!

I don't think that's for me. It's Coupe or Roadster,

I've decided I'll take either as long as the colour combo is nice enough and if the price is right

I think we all would like that...

Go for a black mc , I have always had soft tops but this combination is perfect for the present climate !
