Depends on what you do for a living. I gave up some of those rights when I was given my top secret DoD clearance. I don't have that anymore, thank god. Twas a pain in the ass. They constantly check up on you.

I said taps, not tapes. Of course they were monitored and not taped. If I were doing something illegal, I wouldn't want any evidence of it either.

NEver thought of that.... Glad I don't have DOD clearence or any other clearence.... Sometimes I can be a potty mouth with the girlfriend on the phone

I used to have a whole bunch of them on the shelf under the dash on my old VW bus, but I never had to worry about them falling out when I floored the pedal in that thing

I did have them all fly out at once a few times when I was driving some pretty poor forest roads. The plastic cases were fairly slippery when they were stacked up.
