BMW dealer was searching for approximately 2-3 months, then 3 months spent selling my cars and negotiating with the dealer. This was back in 2012 though so I think the year of purchase will be a big factor in many peoples answers.

Got picked up at Edinburgh by a lovely guy who was a pilot! Took me to the car and that was that! I knew I had a great deal and drove her home 400 miles back to Essex. Got home around 9pm after 7 hours driving with a big smileThat was a proper impulse buy!
