Easy restore and worth a fortune. I could restore that in a Winter pay £50k add £25k of costs, parts and bits and clear £75k
For sure £60k would put you in a decent F type, but a different game

Now that really is a basket case. Totally rusted out from panels boot floors, chassis, etc. Much less valuable coupe and cheaper being LHD
If I wasn't too busy with work and had some time available I'd take on the first one posted and regardless of difficulty of parts could get that on the road for <£90k My buddy 0.5k restores classics to showroom, is retired and spent his life doing this stuff, so £10k-£20k would sort him out for most of the work
Have no doubt next spring it would sell via a specialist dealer for €140k, given they go for up to €200k
I own a Jag (albeit modern) and attend the classic Jag shows, so know how the collectors kill for this model

I bet Wayne Carini has already eyeballed this and is at this very minute wondering if he can put Roger on it before wobbly-hand sets in...Ducklakeview said:Nice, but STEEPLY priced if you ask me...

When I read that, I just hear Jeremy Clarkson saying it

cj10jeeper said:Very nice. Looks steep at a glance, but matching numbers of engine and box will make it a £150k car once restored
There's money in it to the right person
