How much do aero skirts cost fitted?

I am pretty sure when i fitted mine i just reused the old clips and seals (and left the fitting kit in the bag!)
 
Hopefully I don't break the clips as I have not ordered the fitting kit! Otherwise the zed will be skirt-less for a couple of days!
 
If thieves knew the demand and price of these skirts, along with how easy and quickly it sounds like they can be removed from the car we'd all be in trouble!

I really like the skirts, but if I fork out for them I'll be so worried about damaging them on kerbs and humps.
 
They aren't any lower than std skirts... just more masculine in the girth department

You can't get them fully off without opening the door, but even if u try taking them off fm the bottom you'd wake up half the neighbourhood in the process

Think you're more likely to loose alloys than these... and because of their rarity they'd be spotted on eBay in a flash, coz mine have been secretly marked somewhere on the inside coz had the same concerns... but as said b4 u won't get them off with the doors closed without seriously damaging them

You get a kit with the skirts, so no need to worry.
 
Definitely something I'm looking to do early in the new year, probably the best £600 somebody could spend visually upgrading the Z imo :thumbsup:

Although, the only other consideration. What has the mod done to insurance premiums? And, what do you declare it as? Body Kit?
 
Im in half a mind with it. Sometimes looks great sometimes I think... hmm minimal upgrade for £600...

Seeing plenty at the meets now it didnt help looks great in certain colours not in others.
 
Aero Skirts are one of those mods if you dwell on you will never buy & fit


I always keep most of my original parts so that I can sell added parts such aero skirts when I come to sell the Z

On average you will normally get 75% of the purchase price back - or even more? for discontinued ones
 
It is subtle, that is what I like about it. You notice the difference straight away, but more in the way that when you are parked next to a car that does not have them that they are missing something, rather than yours having something extra.
 
I was going throw my old non aero's away, are they worth selling? seem like a pain in the arse to post for small return, or am i wrong?

you read my post wrong - I mean keep the original ones, when you come to sell the Z just refit and sell the aero skirts on for 75+% of the purchase price
