How many driving tests did you fail?

Life was so much simpler pack in the 80's. 8)

First time pass, self taught, one driving lesson before my test, to get the feel for the car. Ripped up my L plates before I left for the test center. What can I say, I was a cocky scouse git.

Of course I've since mellowed. (A bit)

looking back it was fair, I might have had competence but
i was too impatient to be allowed on a highway unsupervised.

Anyway, was anyone else as bad as me?

i thought the five time vote would have been carol or sars

Must be trickier to pass your test in London - the lowest pass rate was a test centre with 22% pass rate

Nah easy, first time for me, in Twickenham. Had to do a 3 point turn and reverse round a corner. I may have had 4 driving instructors though....

Well actually 5 if you include the one lesson my dad took me on where we had a massive arguement.

Passed third time but didn't care at the time as i was more into bikes

Drove in the states for 12 years with no problems whatsoever. Moved to England and failed the test two times in a row! Granted, when I first drove over here I did find myself on the wrong side of the road a bit
