How many coupes in the uk

Does anyone have any real information
I've looked on how many left and around 265 odd 3.0coupes are registered in the uk . But then I read elsewhere on the reliable good old honest Internet search cough cough that it's many more. Anyway of finding a reliable way or website to provide the true facts.

There’s no reliable information about how many left, except that howmanyleft is completely wrong. Many people, including myself, have bought a coupe thinking it was much rarer than it actually is. At one point I identified more for sale than howmanyleft said existed.

No regrets at all. Bizarrely, on my road which has only about 40 houses, there are 2 E86s, 1 E85 and an E89 35iS. Only two of them belong to me :roll:

I live in a close with 11 houses and we have 1 x E86 and 1 x E85 and I only own the E86 so that's a pretty score!

they see the light one of my friends has the e85 2.5 roadster. Not bad at all if I could afford to run two cars

nice one just had a quick look but usability seems limted on my phone I counted just 26 manual coupes for the uk. Can't be right I need to get on the PC later to open the page up more clearly

Likely to be lots still around

On this one variant there were 2258 at its peak registered .. last quarter there were 2106

Which means likely 90% of them are still on the road

There is an accurate record of numbers registered

However, as with the above images it’s just a record of what the DVLA recorded them as, so an Si Sport could be a Coupe or roadster or even a 2.5Si

If you add up all the possible variations and compare with the registration numbers it will give you a ball park

As can be seen from the above a very large number of “Si Sports” have survived … it’s fair to extrapolate that across the other variants

Is there an absolute definitive figure easy to reach … No, but it’s a reasonable assumption to make that a very high proportion have survived as on the example I posted there isn’t a big drop in numbers between 2009 and 2021
