How loyal are you?

Inspired by PVR's recent 'my other car' thread I started to wonder how many of us remain loyal to BMW when choosing the 2nd (or 3rd!) car in the garage.

Audi A6 Avant - phantom black with Audi 'exclusive' interior

A6 wagons are very rare over here, and with this trim this one would be one of a kind. Makes for the perfect family car next to the Z4MC :D

No brand loyalty whatsoever.
But I do love the Z4, so if I had to get rid of mine I just might end up getting another one.

Fair amount of loyalty with 3 BMW's! On our third 5 series, loved the previous 2, this one has never been right so replacement not guaranteed to be BMW. Love the 2 zeds and they have been no trouble so far. Got a good local indy garage (Cramag) which helps keep us loyal

Not loyal to BMW, or even specifically BMW ///M division.

Just work out what I need/want, and it tends to guide me towards BMW ///M cars.

Don't know where I'll go for my next normally-aspirated, rear-wheel-drive, manual-gearboxed saloon/coupé.

Not loyal to BMW, got a company Alpina, that was my first BMW, soon to change for an Audi A6, my wife has a Mercedes A class, however I can say the ///M is an amazing car and can't see me changing for some time yet!! :driving:

My current coupe is my forth BMW and also my second Z4 and hopefully an E89 will be my third one, i've had other makes such as VW's and Audi's but always gone back to BMW. We do have a second car which is a Fiat 500 pop which is the GF's daily driver.

If you want rear wheel drive your choice is limited. I've had two 3 series and two Z4's. Managed to get a 1 series company car over a golf/astra/focus.

Prefer BMW to Mercedes so will stick with them, and the wife wants a MINI next time.

Not brand loyal to BMW at all, in fact I would say that in some ways I am anti BMW in their philosophy towards the owner. A classic example of this is hill start assist on the new 4 cylinder zeds, it's not included so as to save money and make better profits.

I certainly will consider something else next year.

As with many, this is my first BMW... but also the longest I've owned a car, about 6 years I think, and may well stay for a while - although with all the mods, not sure it is even saleable now

That's partly what won me over - if you'd asked me before I bought mine I'd have said I would have bought a Boxster, but it was too good and composed, I preferred the edginess of the Z4, even with the runflats

As for brand loyalty, none...

I had a Volvo S40 (between 318i E36 and 523i E39) and Lotus Elise S1 (between 523i E39 and 323Ci E46). I owned Volvo for 6 months and Elise for 2 weeks.

I have been loyal to BMW for long time because I can't afford Ferrari or Audi R8 at the moment. :D

I like the fact I run a BMW and an Audi side by side. Keeps people guessing, and also blows a hole in the stereotype argument. Well maybe... ;-)

No loyalty to a brand, although anti to some brands based upon stereotype.

Happened to have had 2 BMW's for year until I sold the X5, but buy what I need for current circumstances. Currently enjoying an XF with the revival of Jaguar, quality, style and against the obvious purchases.

No brand loyalty. Having said that, I would consider another BMW from Sytners in Nottingham simply due to the fantastic service I have received from them (and I do like the 5 series and Alpina models). I tend to determine what I need the car for, then look for individuality in the car itself - I hate driving a mainstream box.

My wife, on the other hand, loves VWs and has owned beetles and passats (as teh family has grown up) for years.

This is my 6th BM and my second Z4,, not held over to always buying bmw (errrrrr although my bike is a BM as well ha ha) have looked at and driven others but i keep coming back :driving:

I think this counts as a BMW... :? Bought this after my 2002 525d. Needed a front wheel drive (fed up of getting stuck in snow) and it was the only one BMW did at the time :P Oh, and I still have a 2.0 Z3 which my mate is borrowing at the moment.
