I'm not against modding but lowering is a load of toss compared to quad exhausts and superchargers as it decreases rather than increases the useability performance and enjoyment of the car.Phil-E30 said:So what is the difference in standard ride height between a 3.0SE and a 3.0i?
GreyZed said:Well even with the standard suspension my Zed is so low it picks up damage just from normal usage via speed bumps uneven car parks and driveways into places etc. So I just don't get why anyone would want to make the situation any worse. I'm leaving the whole lowering thing to the Saxo squad where it belongs.I'm not against modding but lowering is a load of toss compared to quad exhausts and superchargers as it decreases rather than increases the useability performance and enjoyment of the car.
If I lowered my Zed I'd never make it back out of most National Trust and English Heritage car parks!

The H&Rs make the car feel very planted I find compared to the oem there is less understeer with the set up and the car doesn't bounce in the slightest. Ride is still crashy tho but improved over OEM. Also you dont have to worry so much about the springs snapping.

Go easy guys, he has an automatic......he doesn't really understand sports cars

Dropped about 15-20mm more than when on Sport springs. I think that the springs retail at £170 to £200... Not sure though as I got mine second hand and very cheap. Don't forget to factor in the cost of getting them fitted unless you have the gear and skills to do it yourself.

Worried about rubbing issues, having just bought 15mm front spacers and 20mm rears.
Phil-E30 said:I'm reading about a few people having rubbing issues with 15mm spacers on front and running Eibach springs.
You're never helpful Marius. f**k off.

Marius I suspect it would be better if you didn't comment on Phil-E30's posts as there is obviously no love lost between the pair of you.Marius said:Phil-E30 said:I'm reading about a few people having rubbing issues with 15mm spacers on front and running Eibach springs.
