How long have you owned your Zed?

Four Months, I've uprated the lights and brakes and have made a few subtle mods. I love it. I would probably sell it in a year or so to upgrade to a black facelift model with red leather. I realise now that when I bought it, all the good ones were selling fast so I settled for my second choice of silver with black leather, it was the only one owner car available at the time. Black with red was on the top of my shopping list but they sold super quick or had more miles than the starship Enterprise. No regrets though

I'm terrible - I've had four cars in two years!! Two Z4s and two 350Zs.

Had this one 2 months now!

I''ve had 3 cars in 2 years which is why i can't justify changing again, my previous car was a Mini Cooper S which I only had for 4 months before changing it for the z

Mini Cooper S should be entertaining. Why did you change it after just 4 months? Because Mini is FWD?

Bought it new 2 years ago and she's still sooooooooo much fun! This one's a keeper. Might add an M3, but the coupe is here to stay!

Good to see I'm not alone in having kept the Zed so long and that most other owners seem to want to hang on to theirs for some time yet. :D

Almost a year. It seems to have gone so quick and i still smile every time i'm in it :D
I plan on keeping it for a few years. But would still like to be driving a Z4. Say i sold it in 2011, it would probably be for one of the last 2009 M Coupe's, or a new shape twin turbo'd one.

We have had ours since May and the Mrs and I still argue over who gets to drive! We both are definiate converts and will only get rid if we have to ie i don't think we'll ever want to.

I've had mine 3.5 years and I'm planning to keep it for another year at least. But then the prime candidate for a swap is an E85 M Roadster (probably in Imola Red), so it's not really like changing!

Other alternatives I'm musing are an E89, although they don't really do anything for me at the moment but maybe it'll be a grower, or a 135i cabrio , but it'd be in spite of the styling. I'd like a 987 Boxster S but they just don't represent good value at the moment (compared to an M anyway).

I've intended keeping cars longer in the past but there's always been a good reason to sell:
Clio 172 (3 years/29k miles) - falling apart
Civic Type R (8 months) - boring
Ibiza TDI (almost 2 years) - didn't need a sensible diesel anymore and could afford something dafter >>>> Z4

Hopefully change all that with the Z4 and join the longer ownership members :)

Had mine since May, and plan on keeping it for a long time! :driving:

We've had our Jeep since 1994 so hopefully the Zed will see a run that long! :D

First one in March 2004, second one in May 2007. Most likely I will buy a car in addition to the M, rather then replace it.

I have had my Golf Clipper for 15 years as well now ...

15 years?! I don't understand how you can even manage to keep a car that long!!!

Haha :D

Its more of a weekend fun Jeep now! We decided to keep it for the ice storms and snow storm in the winter

I have had mine for 2yrs and 4months now and loving every minute. its great to drive, and never even cost me any rpr bills til the last 6months/and thats just been the rear spring and window reg, plus new brake pads and discs(thru choice),as now got the modding bug again :D
Even if my strutbrace that i got(after a 6week wait) wont fit, very annoying(wont allow bonnet to shut properly/as its been machined wrong :headbang: )

Coming up on 2 months now..Cant believe it. Time flys when you are having fun. :D Still waiting to see another deep green coupe around!!!! Plan on keeping it atleast 2 years. Then i guess its time to 'review' whats stage of life i am at and where i want it to go!! :o

5 yrs 4 mths and 1 day :driving: Can't think of a day when I didn't enjoy it. Nearly done 15k miles now too :o Had the TVR 9 years (longer than I wa married lol) before parking it too quickly
