How hard is it to?

Change the tail lights from my pre facelift to the facelift rear lights? I much prefer them to mine but is it more hassle than its worth or is it just covers/units?

new bumpers involved as is new wiring! Big job for little if any gain! The orginals are best IMHO as they are more designed for effect than price!

I'm with pady on this one. You need a facelift cover which will therefore need a respray. Lights themselves not only need wiring but an LCM recode

Personally I think the prefacelift, especially some of the alternative 'white spot' styles are much better than the new style.

Wow! Didn't think it was that hard! :S Thought it would be the same as like rears on a saxo mk1 and mk2. Oh well :( Where can I get hold of the prefacelift rears with white spots?

nothing wrong with Saxos - my wife has a VTR late model, given us a lot less grief than the z4 :poke:
But far less fun! :poke:

ooo I dunno - absolute hoot to drive and sometimes more composed than the zed on our bumpy back roads :D

There's nothing wrong with a late model nicely modded Saxo

Na, I actually prefered this one. I have sent him a message asking if he will swap for my Z4 as I just wish I was cool as him:

That last one looks like an old corvette pipe but those used to run down the sides of the car.

Oh the innocence of youth, wasn't quite the same with the old 1978 mk11 1.6 Capri complete with Richard Grant foam rubber boot spoiler that was my first car.

Back on topic sort of, I have been discussing with Er' indoors about changing the current Zed for a newer one in the future and I would like to go the other way and put Pre Faclift rears on a Facelift Zed, I have always thought they looked so much better.

LMFAO! That's my mate Ant's old saxo. What do you think of this one I almost bought when I was about 18/19.

Strangely the front end reminds me of a rhino

For those interested in pursuing this line of classy motors you need to register on Barry boys. It is to cars what the Darwin awards are to people
