How do I disable annoying seatbelt warning?

Lol that was a terrible example in all fairness, I drove home from work ten minutes before writing that and the wife rang for me to grab a nice bottle of red to go with this evenings tea , placed it on the seat as I left the shop ……….hence why that was on my mind , had to mention it in case anyone thought I drove around daily supping on bottles of wine :D

Sorry i don't know the name of such place in english
But you can go a car junk yard, and cut the belt of a trash car , you then just have ton plug the métal end.

Yes, good idea :D We call them car breakers. I've just noticed that you are in Paris, a lovely city with lots of history, my brother-in-law is from Paris. He now lives in Devon about half an hour away from us with his wife and children.

If I’m honest I wear my seatbelt everywhere but for some reason even the weight of a bottle of wine on the passenger seat seems to set off the seat belt alarm for some reason and end up having to remove it from the seat and take out my seat belt
And clip back in to stop the alarm which is a distraction in itself ; only just got the car so in time I’m sure I’ll remember not to put anything on the passenger seat, are they all that sensitive.?

That sounds a bit sensitive. I can generally get a full bag of shopping in the seat
without the alarm going off :?

Sounds like you really need to upgrade that “99 Thinkpad then

I’ve had my work bag on the seat just fine, only for it to go off when carrying 4 pizzas. Probably says more about my local pizza place than the sensor though

[ref]Barty[/ref], [ref]N4LLY[/ref], I will at some point weigh it as it’s not just the laptop carried in it, there’s other various bits of sh!te in there too

It’s a great forum with great banter ,everyone is friendly and willing to help each other,I don’t normally bother with forums because it for some reason seems to attract a lot of people who are very unfriendly

It's nothing to do with friendliness (apart from me obviously). It's because most are so bloody old on here that they can't remember who they were arguing with yesterday so don't bother. :poke:
