How do I disable annoying seatbelt warning?

Common sense would be to take 2 seconds to put on the seat belt rather than be annoyed for 20-30 seconds by the beeps.

Oi you!
You start insisting on common sense and we'll have very short uninteresting threads.

Yes, unusual for me I must admit. :D

I'm not Vulcan, or even part Vulcan, but it would seem logical. :headbang:

Logic would dictate that if there is a warning light for something that it is telling you something of importance. LLAP.

Did you know it's illegal to pay for a car park or drive through using your phone? Yet many airports and drive throughs allow this payment option?
Errr...there's a specific exemption for that :P

Regulation 3(1)(b) amends regulation 110 by inserting an additional exemption to provide that a person is not in contravention of that regulation where the hand-held mobile telephone or interactive communication device is being used to make a contactless payment at a contactless payment terminal, in compliance with the requirements. Regulation 3(2) inserts definitions for the terms “contactless payment” and “an application”.

As such, the law does not prevent individuals from making contactless payments at drive-thrus.
Either put the seat belt on, or continue to be ever-so-slightly annoyed by the beeping...otherwise (and ignoring any legalities) if you code it out you risk forgetting to put it on when you do go out onto the road.

From a basic question on how to shut of an annoyingly loud beep (which it is, if we’re honest), to a slightly moralistic discussion on why you should always wear your seatbelt (which of course, you should).

Who would’ve thought…

It never ceases to amaze me how much effort people will expend to enable them to continue to be bone idle.

Amazing...I know I have to put the seatbelt on and I always do. I don’t need a buzzer telling me to do it. The problem is that it’s the most loud and ear piercing buzzer there is. It is shrill and annoying. Not a polite tone like it should be. Mine chirps as soon as you turn the ignition on and it’s annoying and way louder than it needs to be. I am going to find the source and cover it so it’s muffled.

That is odd. Has someone added an aftermarket device?
As previously (and rather flippantly) stated, mine only comes on over a certain speed and even then not for 2-300 yards.

And mine also, I thought it a bit odd too.

No not aftermarket. Lots of people report that it is the most annoying and loud warning beeper ever... here is the fix....just got it done but I did not remove buzzer, I just filled it with some foam. MUCH better!

yep that summed it up. I was not talking about safety and putting seatbelt on...I have been doing that for 40 years. The topic was the certainly annoyng buzzer. Well I found it, and putting some gray foam sponge in there took the edge off and cut it down to 25 percent. Nice! BTW it beeps when you turn key on as well and I had passengers comment on how annoyingly loud it was as well.

Still a bit confused as I've never heard of one be that dictatorial. Least it could do is give you a chance.

If I’m honest I wear my seatbelt everywhere but for some reason even the weight of a bottle of wine on the passenger seat seems to set off the seat belt alarm for some reason and end up having to remove it from the seat and take out my seat belt
And clip back in to stop the alarm which is a distraction in itself ; only just got the car so in time I’m sure I’ll remember not to put anything on the passenger seat, are they all that sensitive.?
