It is his own fault for driving so close to someone with snow on their roof, common sense not to really. But do equally get annoyed when you see these people with snow all over their car, obscuring lights, number plates etc.
Did a 240 mile round trip yesterday, loads of people with snow on their roofs. Saw 2 or 3 times a slab fly off and smash into the road. Just kept well back!
A piece of ice did fly into my windscreen at one point, didn't see where it had come from, but was frozen solid and sounded like a pebble had hit the windscreen. No damage though thankfully.
