Highlands Coast to Coast October 29th/30th 2022..postponed to 2023

We are now closing out the Coast to Coast weekend trip from Aberdeen to Maillag on the weekend of the 25th and 26th June.
We are holding a number of hotel rooms at good rates at the Premier Inn at Westfield in Aberdeen on the Friday and Sunday nights. Plus a limited numberof rooms in Maillaig.
The latest ideas on the routes is attached.
If you wish to join for the weekend or part of the trip please advise now, as we will shortly cancel the remaining rooms to avoid any charges.
Any questions please ask.

Hi Bushy, thanks for your wishes…
Due to a full diary and cost / availability issues of hotels it looks if we do it this year then it will be the last weekend in October…
Same route but staying in Arisaig at a better quality hotel on the Saturday…
I’ll probably do a block booking of 4 rooms for the Friday Saturday and Sunday nights as I can get them cost free with zero cancellation issues..
Otherwise it will have to be on 2023…

Kathleen and I decided to do a mini version of this ourselves starting this morning, until she sent me this last night literally 5 minutes after I’d finished cleaning/hoovering/fuelling up the car

Sure Jane really enjoyed the event in Northumberland, but we chose not to attend this C2C on Peters original planned date, as we had previously booked onto the National for the following weekend.
Extending our Well wishes to you and Kathleen, now that Covid has caught up with you also..

Yes it’s a pretty good indicator of infection level…and several in a row shows trends..but like all these matters viral it’s not simple..absence of a line could still mean you are infectious albeit at a reduced level..
I’m currently marooned in a nearby house as Mo’s Swiss family are here…heh ho..at least not cooped up in one room..

Car’s clean at the moment but may not be by the end of the day :evil:
Fortunate for me I’ve not seen Kathleen since Sunday so fingers crossed she caught it after then

Enjoy…looks like omicron breeds really fast 2-3 days typically so most likely she caught it Monday / Tuesday ish..anyway that’s my theory..
