That looks like a great trip
The mrs and me are going for a 2 weeks holiday to Scotland at the end of this month and we are looking forward to it
We have toured all over Scotland several times on our motorbikes but this will be the first time in the Z4.

The last couple of times, before Corona, we did not book any hotels or b&bs in advance and always managed to find a vacancy.
Is that still the case or do you advise to make reservations?

Generally these days most of the Highlands is booked solid for months ahead..of course there will be cancellations and with just one room more options..

If you want some recommendations let me know.

We would very much like to receive some recommendations from you.
We do not have a fixed plan yet but intend to drive up the west coast, follow part of the nc500 and go down through the Highlands, Speyside and Cairngorms.
