Hi,

Been an avid member of BM3W and now mtorque since my E46 M3 days, thought I would hunt out a site more specific as the Z4 section over there is like a morgue!!

Will try to add an image or two, but past experience says this will not be easy!!

if so its simpler than mtorque!!!

In two years of ownership the only other M coupe I have seen in the flesh was at a Silverstone track day, it is one rare beast.

Added genuine CSL rims at purchase, retro fit bluetooth - that does not work properly (shame), stubby aerial and ipod kit are the only changes.

Thinking about a new exhaust......... :D

light sepang, didn't like champagne fortunately think its too yellow. Was unsure from photos but when viewed in the flesh it goes really well. Had a tit silver M3 with imola red before so like the contrast but its a bit more subtle - unlike the car!!!

Aftermarket systems seem to vary a lot and people end up with a very loud (thinking RPI here) intrusive system that starts to grate in everyday driving but sounds fantastic when the foot is down! Or something a bit more quiet and bassy that disappoints a little as it isn't loud enough when you really want to cain it.

What would be great is a 'switchable' system so you could engage the 'loud' exhaust when you wanted but keep it quiet when you were just cruising.

took a punt on the exhaust as all sounded good, paid for the item and dipatched with fedex.

one parcel damaged so I open to check contents, other one looked okay.

damaged packaging exhaust was okay but the one that looked fine has dent to end of one of the tips.

seller is a guy off here - not interested!!!, says not his fault and that I should have fully unwrapped both before signing for delivery.

thoughts........??
