Cheers for the reminder! Always a good thing to do to any BMW in my experience, the throttle feel always starts to dull a bit.
The comment about stop/start traffic causing adaption issues hits the nail on the head I think.
Has the added bonus on my 35i of bringing back a bit more exhaust bark.

I had the same problem on my SDrive 3.0i and it is really annoying. The actions below cured it on mine. I don’t know if it will work on your car but it might be worth a shot.

1. hit start button once to turn on power (Don't start the engine)
2. then press the accelerator down to the floor for 5 sec
3. then hit start button once to turn off power
4. then remove foot from accelerator
5. then wait for 2 minutes
4. then start the engine, drive away.

Resets transmission and throttle response to default.

When I took the car out yesterday, the re-set seemed to have done more than just remove the hesitation. More time will tell.

Funny you should say that, Rob. In 'Sport' + 'S', steering & adaptive suspension ... er ... adapted, and the tyres at 36 front & 44 rear (of course), the car is more agile, more responsive and better balanced than ever.

I've never known it drive so well.

I thought it was the only penalty for having DCT. Only happens when pulling away but made up for when using the box in any of the 3 configurations when driving.

It only happened to me occasionally and then I avoided it by driving in 'Sport' in town traffic.

Now, however, it seems to have gone altogether (and the car feels even sharper and more responsive than it was before.) Bingo.

Thanks very much for posting Tinker, mine feels a touch sharper and less bog down on throttle.
