Hi Lukez4,
The temp gauge dropping when this problem occurs doesn't sound as if this is a fuel problem, more like an intermittent power problem, especially as it's not throwing up any fault codes. A first step would be to check the main feed from the battery to the front of the car and the engine ground return (Low on the RHS of the engine - Braided strap/cable). The ECU's on Zed's seem to be very voltage sensitive and all manor of random issues occur when the voltage is low!

Hi,
Going from memory a bit here, but I think it is drivers side under the exhaust manifolds, you will be looking to see if it's not come loose where its fixed to the engine and the chassis of the car and not to badly corroded (The cable is tinned copper and looks a silvery green as it weathers).
