Help with Suspension and Tyre Set Up

I would suggest that 235/35R19 is as big as you want to go........if those aren't wide enough for the front alloys then the wheels are probably too wide !

As mentioned by Truman 265/30R19 goes nicely on the rear

Thanks for the help! Ill need to see what can fit on these alloys - hopefully I dont need to buy a new set.

Might help if you posted a picture, I take it that the wheels are aftermarket or from some other BMW ?

I’m puzzled.
How is everyone able to give advice on tyre sizes and suspension setups to deal with this guy’s rubbing issues etc without knowing the widths and offsets of his alloys?
Surely without that info all these tyre suggestions are just people throwing random comments into the ring?

Fair comment but irrespective of offset I doubt hes getting 255/40R19 on the front of an E85

I was more just trying to see what other people were using with there 19" tyres as mine just seem far to big. I will try and find out the details of the alloys I have if that will help

265/35/19 rears fit fine with the right offset. Mine don’t rub and it’s slightly lowered vs stock. Don’t change them unless you absolutely have to because the ride and handling (on bumpy roads) is noticeably better than with /30 profile.

255/40/19 fronts - not a chance, regardless of offset. As others have said, 235/35/19 is about as big as will physically fit without rubbing and with stock camber.

In terms of arch gaps, is this on a totally level surface? Can you park on the other side of the road (facing the same way!) and see the same difference in clearance?

Do try and get the spec or post pics of the alloys when you can.

Wasnt criticizing your question mate.
But yeah, if you post the widths and offsets of your wheels (front and back if staggered :wink: ) theres clever people on here - not me - who will be able to give you more useful answers than youve had so far.
