Help!! Low Oil Pressure Warning. **Update** Car Now Home

Lad you've got it all sorted.
Shame they haven't heard about plastic seat covers :headbang: Take pictures and send to the service manager.

Funnily enough I've just had a text come through asking me if I was satisfied with the service from the dealership and to respond with yes or no. I've replied with no... so we'll see if someone rings me!

Funnily enough my car came back from its last service at Elms absolutely filthy - despite being asked to wait for the car to come back from the carwash.
Didn't have time to make a point of it there and then, but complained on the "how was the service" follow-up. Never heard from them again.
They wont be getting my business again.

Oooh can't wait to see what happens :)

Well I haven't had any further texts or any phone calls following up on my no response. Needless to say I will be taking some pictures of the dirty seat when I get home later and contacting the service manager tomorrow.

I only wonder what verification tests they have made to ensure that no damage has been done?

The amount of oil in the system in your case has nothing to do with any potential engine damage - To put it simply an engine will fail without oil pressure - and you lost oil pressure for a period prior to switch off.

The oil pressure fault would worry me a lot more than a dirty seat. That is just annoying but somehow it also seems to reflect the dealers attitude !

I would not be happy - not by a long chalk!
