Hellrot Coupe Respray Progress

That's looking great already! I have to admit Red is my favourite colour on a Coupe.

Great to see the updates

Hadn't noticed the M rear number, that will make it all the more special. Also, is that a cheeky black roof I see there?!

Yes it is :D It had a terribly worn black wrap on before and after taking it off I much prefer the contrast on that section as it follows the line from the rear window, so now it is painted in gloss back forever more

Awesome, can't wait to see it all finished

Got to admit, I've been resisting the urge to do a full respray on mine, and this thread isn't helping!

Another vote for the group buy/forum deal.
Maybe the OP could get the place to quote per panel if individuals only need bits n bobs done.
I need a bonnet and front bumper done.
Not far from the place too.............
:roundel:

Just picked her up today and I must say I am ecstatic with the results, the shine off it is unreal and thats before a coating of wax :o
Stood and spoke for a while and was quite interesting hearing about the places he's worked for, including correcting the paint laid down by the robots at various factorys including BMW.

I did mention the forum about a few guys being interested and he said he'd maybe give me a price however he wasn't looking to take on full resprays etc as they're doing repairs for all or most of the dealerships in the area now.

However If anyone drops me a PM I am more than happy to forward on his number and you can contact him, he is the cheapest in my area and very experienced, and uses the same paint bmw uses at the factory. 20200409_161753.jpg20200409_161743.jpg20200409_161725.jpg20200409_161733.jpg20200409_161719.jpg20200409_161712.jpg20200409_161707.jpg

Absolutely stunning  . Looks like a superb job, no wonder you're happy with it :D . That will turn some heads :driving: .

Thanks for the kind comments guys, i couldn't be happier with the end result, now all she needs now is a little detail and a wax once the paints had a few days to breathe :D

:o That looks good!

Falkirk you say? Hmmmn not that far from me in London then!
 To be fair I bought my coupe in Essex, lovely drive up :driving: Haha! A weeks stay in a b&b up here you'd probably still be cheaper than a body shop in london

The dark inners on the headlights are the icing on a very sweet cake 8) looks terrific that
They were quite a recent update aswell  very close to being exactly how I want it to look :D

Echo the comments so far - looks fantastic. Agree that the black headlights work well, as do the rear tints and black roof bringing a great contrast to the amazing red finish. No wonder you’re chuffed. 8)

What incredible value for money with a truly amazing finish. That looks better than new.

Looking good, where abouts is the body shop doing the job? maybe be interested in getting a quote of them some time, once I’ve seen the end results from yours   as I’m at the same point you were where the car has too many little stone chips dents etc and mine is a roadster so even less to prep!

The place is in Carronshore, Falkirk, the owner seems really geniune and it was a friend of mines who was raving about him  I'd say go for it, sooner you do it the longer you get to enjoy it :D

Carronshore? About 10mins from me. Will keep him in mind :)
