Hi,
Just a quick hello from me.
I bought a Z4 as a plaything to compliment my daily driver E90 320d M Sport (2007). The Z4 very enjoyable, rattly and skittish
.
In the now 6 weeks I have owned it I have had to fix -
1. The sticky steering by loosening and turning the ring method.

2. The passenger side window regulator by drilling out and fitting a new cable.

3. Todo - fit the new front bumper side plastic brackets (after tying to 3D print them - as in IMHO they are much too expensive and fragile)
4. Todo - Fit the factory cup holders. Too mean to pay 16+ quid for the front plates so 3D printing them - WIP.
5. Replace roof micro swich with a decent one with a rotating wheel that is used on the 3D printer endstops.
6. Todo - Recondition and dye the leather seats (need a sample for them to match ther LAT5 - Oregon Red).
7. Clean and waterproof the roof
8. Dump the run-flats
9. New petrol cap (P0440 EVAP) which didn't sort the code so may need a new breather valve.
-Edit: The breather valve (£20 ebay) sorted the problem. A three hour tootle around the Stone Henge area confirmed.
For the fun and the joy of messing I have already fitted -
1. Perspex tinted wind deflector
2. New fitted mats in cabin and boot
3. El cheapo (ebay) parking sensors as I cannot seem to get use to the lack of back on the car (on fuse tap/relay).

4. El Cheapo (ebay) steering wheel controls.

5. Reverse camera (Aliexpress) (see 1) (on fuse tap/relay).
6. Android 7 universal flip up head unit (Aliexpress) ..."OK Google"... yes please. (on fuse tap for constant power)

7) Stuff I haven't thought of yet
.
All was going so well... roof down... shades on 8) ... vroom
.
That is, until, said roof stopped working
. I have been in contact with bowser134 but I think he must be really busy.
Anyhoo ...hello all!
